The Home Depot

Buying countertops from HD was one of the worst experiences I’ve been through as a professional. The finished product was nice, but it took 3 months of having no idea of what was going on to get there. HD subbed out a local countertop fabricator, Custom Kitchens, and it was terrible communicating with both of them. My client and I were completely in the dark for most of those 3 months. At no point did HD step up to the plate to update me or try and remediate the situation. Not once did they call me, every time I had to call them. This project ended up taking WAY more time than originally planned because I had to keep calling and even visiting both HD and Custom Kitchens to get answers. I also had to keep changing my busy schedule around to get this job done because I had no idea when the countertops would be ready. Don’t get me wrong, HD is nice at what it does being a big box store. But for their “professional” services, I would steer far away (I have heard other horror stories from clients). I will never again consider HD for any of these services, and I will advise all of my clients to do the same from here on out. The ladies at the customer service desk were nice as usual, but

Placed an order for a gazebo that I purchased with no problem only to have the item cancelled for being out of stock. Ordered another, different gazebo, and they did the exact same thing. So I made two orders back to back and both were cancelled for being out of stock. So apparently Home Depot makes a habit of selling out of stock items. Not cool at all.

It's a typical home Depot. Not fancy. Staff was nice. Doing research for a shower conversion. They had nice big displays. I wish I could walk into it to get a real sense of how big the shower stall would be but I understand that it's not an option for safety reasons. Got some flooring samples as well.

As a combat veteran it's sad to see the 2 flags above the store ripped to shreds and blowing in the wind. They need replaced or taken down properly. The inside of the store was decorated nicely for the holidays and the staff is alway helpful.

Wonderful store with huge inventory and selection with competitive prices! Super great customer service too! Like anywhere you need to do your homework but seldom can you find better prices and never better service!
